Arrive in winter and depart in spring

The Naumann's Thrush breeds in northern areas such as Siberia during the summer, but after October they gradually begin to fly to Japan to overwinter. They are a little hard to spot because their body color blends in with nature, but you can often see them hopping around on the ground looking for insects.
The pattern on its belly and the yellow color of its beak are distinctive, and its wind-breaking form makes it a cool bird.
