Bulbul on the seashore

The Blue Rock Thrush is a member of the thrush family, but because it looks similar to the Brown-eared Bulbul and lives on the shore, its name in Japanese means "Shore Bulbul".
Females have a rock-like gray color, while males have bright blue bodies, and their bellies turn red during the breeding season.
