It's still beautiful even if it falls.

  • Many flowers and plants in the wild were introduced from overseas and have become established in the wild, but Camellia is native to Japan. Various varieties have been produced from the wild species called Yabutsubaki and are popular as ornamental plants. It is characterized by blooming in winter, and its beautiful deep green leaves do not fall all year round, making it instantly recognizable as a camellia.
When the flower falls, the petals do not fall off one by one but fall from the base of the flower, which is sometimes considered bad luck because it is associated with the falling of the head. However, I think there is a beauty unique to camellias that retains its flower shape even after it falls.
